Crews from two area fire departments were called Saturday afternoon to a report of a UTV on fire in a field, prompting grass fire concerns.

A brush truck was also dispatched to the scene, which is on Sugarbush Road in the town of Emmet.

The initial report was called in just after 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Initial reports suggest the UTV is engulfed in flames and surrounded by tall grass.

Fire danger is high in Marathon County, according to the Dept. of Natural Resources. The DNR fire information page lists seven wildfires statewide as of Saturday afternoon.

There are no reports of injuries.
