Two Wausau police officers will share advice tonight for landlords seeking to curb illegal activities at their rental properties.

Lt. Melinda Pauls and officer Nate Stetzer will give tips on tenant screening that can help landlords identify potential problem tenants. The meeting will be held at 6:30 on Monday at the Wausau Downtown Airport.

The meeting is primarily for landlords, but concerned residents are also welcome to attend to learn tips on how to watch for suspicious behavior and when to call police for help.

The meeting, which is expected to last about an hour, is being organized by real estate agent Michelle Dins and Wausau Alderman Pat Peckham.
