Baseball fans will see a new feature this summer when the Wisconsin Woodchucks kick off their season May 31.

The 6,500-square-foot Bullpen, along the first baseline, is the latest upgrade at Athletic Park. The space features a completely redeveloped Leinie’s Lodge and concession stand with pergola roofs, tables, a Ping-Pong table, beanbag toss and foosball. The Bullpen will be open for all home games to single game buyers or small groups, according to the Woodchucks website.

“The Bullpen will be a great place for friends or business associates to meet after work and enjoy a baseball game in a relaxed environment that is designed for socializing,” said Woodchucks Owner Mark Macdonald.

Bullpen tickets include a game ticket and entry to The Bullpen, all-you-can-eat brats, hamburgers, hotdogs, Tater-Tots, fountain soda and water, plus 3 beer tabs for $25.00 in advance and $28.50 at the gate. A table of four next to the fence is offered for $110, which includes four tickets.

“We were looking to develop an area in the ballpark with great atmosphere and the feel of a Sunday afternoon barbeque with friends,” said Wisconsin Woodchucks President & General Manager Ryan Treu. “The bullpen will be a fun area where guest can enjoy a really great beer and relax with friends. This space in the stadium gives fans an additional place for entertainment during games.”

All ticket packages and group tickets, including for The Bullpen are now on sale for the upcoming 2017 season.
