WAUSAU – Three of four candidates for the Wausau School Board will appear Thursday at a forum to discuss key issues ahead of the upcoming election. Three candidates will be elected to three-year terms on April 4.

Shereen Siewert, publisher and editor of Wausau Pilot & Review, will co-moderate a public forum alongside Oliver Burrows, host of Hometown Morning on 1230 WXCO. Wausau Pilot & Review and Sunrise Broadcasting will co-sponsor the event.

Jay Stahl, a member of the Wausau East Student Council, will present questions from students at the forum.

The event is slated for 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 30 in the auditorium in the Health Sciences Building at North Central Technical College.

Sunrise Broadcasting will record the forum for broadcast, time TBA.

Incumbent Jeff Leigh, along with challengers Jeff Kocha and Lee Webster, will participate in the forum, which is free and open to the public. School Board President Lance Trollop is unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict.
