TOWN OF COLOMA – A Wausau teen is dead and a young woman is injured after a rollover crash Tuesday morning on I-39 in the town of Coloma.

The driver of the vehicle, 18-year-old Taylor Noland, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His passenger, 18-year-old Hannah J. Rudolph of Medford was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Her condition has not been released.

Officers say the crash was reported around 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday. The vehicle was on its roof when crews responded.

Noland’s death marks the first highway fatality in Waushara County for 2017, according to the Waushara County Sheriff’s Department.

The crash remains under investigation.
