In an April 5 letter to parents, Beringer announced he will accept a new role at Concordia Christian Day School in Conover, N.C., beginning this fall.

“I do not have the words to express my gratitude to everyone at The Valley,” Beringer wrote. “I can’t begin to thank everyone who has enriched my life in this ministry.”

Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School, on Maple Ridge Road in Mosinee, opened its doors in 2004 with 13 students in grades 9-10. Today, the school has 62 students in grades 9-12 from communities throughout central Wisconsin, including Wausau, Merrill, Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids.

WVLHS board president Scott Michaelson said the board is now evaluating the school’s strengths and needs before beginning the search for a new leader.

“Our thanks go out to Dave who has been such a blessing to us over the past nine years,” Michaelson wrote.
