WAUSAU – The Salvation Army Advisory Board-Wausau announced a new slate of officers after elections held at their March board meeting.

The Board elected Jim Weimerskirch, chairperson, Jane Huebsch, vice chairperson, Larry Meyer, treasurer and Jean Cuttell, secretary. Board officers are elected for one-year terms, according to an April 16 news release.

The Salvation Army is a religious and social services organization that is active worldwide and locally in the Wausau area. Since 1912, the Salvation Army has provided basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, medical and rent assistance, and emergency disaster services, without discrimination, to individuals and families.
