WAUSAU – The third of three neighborhood pool renovations in Wausau is nearly complete, and a Wausau filmmaker captured a sneak peak in a video posted to YouTube.
The short video, by Vision-Airy Films, gives a birds eye view of the new pool, which will be open in June. A grand opening and ribbon cutting is slated for June 10, with free open swim to follow, according to city officials. Schulenberg Pool, 1533 Summit Drive, is in the final stages of its remodeling project. Both Kaiser and Memorial Pools were also remodeled in the past three years. The combined projects cost an estimated $9 million.
