MOSINEE — If you see fire trucks roaring toward Central Wisconsin Airport this weekend, don’t panic: It’s just a drill.

From 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, CWA will hold their triennial emergency preparedness exercise, according to a news release issued this week. CWA aircraft rescue and firefighting units will be on hand along with participants from the Mosinee Police and Fire District, Marathon County Emergency management, Marathon County Sheriff’s Department and Kronenwetter Police Department.

This type of drill prepares local and airport personnel for possible emergencies at the airport.
