WAUSAU – Editors of Mush, the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County’s (UWMC) literature and art magazine, will hold a release party next week to celebrate the release of the 14th edition of the publication.
Mush will be available for purchase next week. The publication includes prose, poetry and art submissions from UWMC students, community members and area high school students.
Editors will be hosting the Mush Release Party on Thursday, May 11, 12:05-1:30 p.m., in the Student Union, located in UWMC’s main academic building. Admission is free for UWMC students and $2 for community members. Attendees will receive a copy of the new issue. Food and refreshments also will be available.
“This year, we invited high school students and community members to contribute to our magazine,” said Megan Demeuse, editor-in-chief. “Our Mush team worked very hard all year to select, edit and incorporate the best pieces into our yearly literary magazine.”
After May 15, Mush will be available for $7 at Janke Bookstore in Wausau.
