East, West students compete at state skills competition

in Wisconsin news

Students from two area high schools recently competed at the State SkillsUSA competition in Madison, according to a Wausau School District release.

SkillsUSA, which began in 1965 as the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America, now has more than 335,000 students and advisors. The organization’s goal has always been to ensure that students have the skills sought by future employers.
