Police: Toddler struck by vehicle

TOWN OF REID — A 2-year-old child is in stable condition after being struck by a vehicle in a driveway, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department.

Officers were called just before 7:15 p.m. Thursday to a home in the town of Reid, where the child was injured but conscious, according to a news release. The child, whose name and gender are not being released at this time, was transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said.

The town of Reid is about 25 miles southeast of Wausau.

As of late Thursday evening, the child was in stable condition.
