MOSINEE — A Silver Alert is in effect for a 68-year-old Wausau man last seen at the Central Wisconsin Airport in Mosinee.
Department of Justice officials said David Rozmenowski on Wednesday tried to board a flight at CWA but did not have proper identification. Rozmenowski spent the night in the airport and was last seen leaving on foot at about 4:45 a.m. on Thursday.
Rozmenowski is described as 6 feet tall and about 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants tucked into boots, a blue shirt and a brown jacket.
Similar to an Amber Alert, Silver Alerts go out by email, text message, or fax through the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network to notify the public that an adult with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other permanent cognitive impairment is missing.
Anyone with information should call the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department at 715-849-7792.
