Though the Wausau Wolfpack lacrosse team dominated the D.C. Everest Evergreens on Thursday by a score of 11-3, they couldn’t quite keep the momentum going into the weekend.

The Wolfpack on Saturday faced the DeForest Norskis in a non-conference matchup. Charlie Brimacombe’s hat trick was impressive, but not enough to push the team past the Norskis in overtime. The final score was 8-7.

The Wolfpack, ranked second in the Bay Valley Conference, will take on two of the top four conference teams this week. Monday, the team travels to Neenah to play the conference-leading Rockets. And on Thursday, the Wolfpack hosts its final regular season home game against Appleton United. Game time is 7 p.m. at Thom Field.
