WAUSAU — A 28-year-old man is facing preliminary charges of drunken driving after a motorcycle crash, police say.

Officers from the Wausau Police Department were called at about 3:23 p.m. to the intersection of Stevens Drive and West Wausau Avenue for a report of a possibly intoxicated motorcycle driver, according to the police report. When police arrived, they found the bike lying on its side in the intersection.

The man, whose name has not yet been publicly released, was arrested on charges of third-offense drunken driving. He is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
