TOWN OF TEXAS — One person is dead and three people are injured following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday in the town of Texas, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash was reported just before 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy. W and Hwy WW. One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash and three others were transported to Aspirus Wausau Hospital for treatment of their injuries, police said. The severity of those injuries has not been released.
A crash reconstruction team was at the scene for several hours.
No names have been released. The crash remains under investigation.
