Wisconsin Rapids — If defense wins championships, both Wisconsin Rapids and D.C. Everest staked their title claims Thursday, but the record will show that only Everest wins the 2017 Wisconsin Valley Conference crown after a vintage scoreless draw at Washington Elementary.
