In recognition of National Police Week, the Wausau East High School Graphics class donated custom designed t-shirts to the Wausau Police Department to celebrate and show appreciation the efforts of law enforcement, according to a Wausau School District news release.

Each t-shirt, designed for a specific officer, has the officer’s badge numbers on the back. The front of the blue t-shirt displays a custom American Flag, designed by senior Jordyn Schalow, that incorporates the word JACKNATION and a “blue line” baseball bat. Officers plan to wear their t-shirts at various fundraising events throughout the summer. The effort was coordinated by graphics instructor Elizabeth Kysely.

The East High Graphics students are pictured with Officer Piskoty, Jordyn Schalow, Officer Nick Stetzer (East’s School Resource Officer), Officer Lee, Officer Hunt, and Officer Jaeger with Layla.
