WAUSAU — Detectives are awaiting the results of a toxicology test to determine how a 32-year-old man died, according to a Wausau Police Department report posted Wednesday.

Police were called at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday to a residence in the 1300 block of Jackson Street to a report of a man who was not breathing and was turning purple, according to the report. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marathon County Medical Examiner.

The man’s name has not yet been released, but his family has been notified, police said.
