WAUSAU — The 6th Street Filling Station held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 1 to celebrate new ownership at their location at 1314 North Sixth Street. The ribbon cutting was followed by an open house.

“We are a brother and sister team with a passion for good food and good company,” said owner Jaime Kroening. “We love to entertain and want our guests to always walk away with a full belly and a satisfied soul. We are maintaining the integrity of the Filling Station and are excited to bring the restaurant to the next level.”

The 6th Street Filling Station is open from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday and open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Breakfast is sold daily until 2 p.m. For more information, call 715-848-3000.
