On Thursday, June 15 at 10 a.m.Route 51 previews The 28th Annual Energy Fair, which will takes place June 16-18 in Custer, Wisconsin, east of Stevens Point.

Host Glen Moberg welcomes Nick Hylla, Executive Director of the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, Kari Lyderson, Chicago-based staff writer for Midwest Energy News and Chris Holman who owns and operates Nami Moon Farms of Custer. Holman also serves on the board of directors of the Wisconsin Farmers Union.  The program will also feature an interview with Erica Mackie, CEO and Co-Founder of GRID Alternatives, the nation’s largest nonprofit solar installer.

Route 51, WPR’s regional talk program, is broadcast at 10 a.m. Thursdays on Ideas Network stations 91.9 Wausau, 930 AM Auburndale/Stevens Point, 99.1 Stevens Point, 100.9 Marshfield, 90.3 Park Falls, 89.1 Adams/Wisconsin Rapids, HD 90.9-3 and 89.9 Rhinelander/Eagle River. Route 51 is re-broadcast Friday nights at 7 p.m. on 90.9 Wausau.
