WESTON — Ministry Health Care, part of Ascension, and Medical College Physicians are pleased to welcome Maribeth Beck, APNP, to Ministry Medical Group’s cardiology department. Beck sees patients at 3301 Cranberry Boulevard in Weston.
A board-certified adult gerontologist, Beck provides preventive care and treatment for acute and chronic cardiac conditions. She sees patients who are middle-aged and older and has a special interest in caring for patients who have acute needs. Beck ardently believes in establishing relationships as she educates her patients and their families so they can make informed healthcare decisions. She partners with each patient to create a relevant and feasible plan with the highest potential for health.
Beck received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. She earned a Master of Science in the adult / gerontology nurse practitioner program from the University of Alabama – Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama. Throughout her 20-year nursing career, Beck has cared for people from diverse populations and age groups. She has worked in free medical clinics in the United States and abroad.
“I believe in advocating for the health of my patients by providing individualized and compassionate care,” Beck said.
When she’s not in the office, Beck enjoys spending time with her family, knitting, reading and discussing books with her friends.
