ANTIGO — A 19-year-old Schofield woman facing charges of attempted homicide, aggravated battery and reckless endangerment entered a not guilty plea to all charges on Monday in Langlade County Circuit Court.

Reva Waukau is accused of stabbing a young woman during an April 15 fight at the Wolf River Inn in the town of Wolf River. That’s when the 18-year-old woman told investigators she had agreed to meet with Waukau for a fist fight over an “ongoing dispute,” according to the criminal complaint. During the fight, Waukau allegedly stabbed the woman in the stomach.

Two friends transported the woman to a Shawano hospital for treatment of a three-inch stab wound, according to the complaint.

Waukau was arrested in May, and a Langlade County judge initially set a $25,000 cash bond for her release. That bond amount was lowered on June 1, and on June 12, Waukau was freed after posting a $10,000 cash bond.

A status conference to discuss the case is set for Sept. 11.
