The 34-year-old man Portage County Sheriff’s officials called a “person of interest” in connection with a missing teenager is in custody, but the missing girl has not been found.

Rayna Griffin, 15, left a group home at about 3:15 p.m. on July 15, and was last seen with 21-year-old Terry Warren, a convicted sex offender, police said. Griffin’s absence from the group home was not authorized, but police said she left voluntarily.

Warren has since been arrested on a probation warrant.

Deputies had reason to believe that Griffin with Elliott Adams, who was considered a person of interest in Griffin’s whereabouts, according to a Portage County Sheriff’s Department news release. Adams was arrested on Monday.
