MERRILL — The 24-year-old Tomahawk man accused of stabbing a man nearly a dozen times is being held in the Lincoln County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond.
Cody Jenson is facing charges of attempted first degree intentional homicide, first degree reckless injury, first degree recklessly endangering safety, and aggravated battery with the intent to cause great bodily harm in connection with the July 8 town of Bradley stabbing.
Jenson made an initial appearance Monday in Lincoln County Circuit Court.
Police said Jenson was arguing with the alleged victim about a friend when Jenson pulled out a hunting knife and stabbed the man 11 times in the shoulder, arm and abdomen. The man was treated at a local hospital.
Jenson continued to send taunting text messages to the alleged victim following the stabbing. “You want more?”, one text read, according to court documents.
Future court dates have not yet been set.
