Beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 29, residents are invited to virtually “ride along” with an officer from the Wausau Police Department in their first ever #TweetAlong event.
Until 3:30 a.m., Wausau Police Officer Luis Lopes-Serrao will patrol the city with his K-9 partner, Zander, responding to calls for service. Throughout the night, Lopes-Serrao will Tweet their progress, offering up behind the scenes photos while giving residents a unique way to learn about the daily routine of local officers.
