WAUSAU — A warrant has been issued for a 28-year-old Milwaukee man accused of taking sexually explicit photos of a 14-year-old Wausau girl and trying to persuade her to perform sexual favors for strangers.

A warrant for the arrest of Sean Q. Lewis was filed Tuesday in Marathon County Circuit Court, where Lewis faces felony charges of child enticement, soliciting a child for prostitution and second degree sexual assault of a child. Lewis is also facing three misdemeanor bail jumping charges, according to court records.

The alleged victim told police Lewis on July 23 offered to pay $200 to take photos of the girl in her swimsuit. When the victim agreed, Lewis removed the girl’s pants and instead took sexually explicit photos in a downtown Wausau apartment, according to the police report. After taking the photos, Lewis asked the girl if she would be willing to “meet with people” in exchange for money, the report read. The girl declined, and reported the incident.

Video surveillance footage confirmed Lewis was with the girl at the apartment, and the alleged victim identified Lewis from a photo lineup, police said.

Lewis has previous felony battery, burglary, drug and weapons charges stretching back to 1999, according to online court records. He faces up to 90 years in prison and $300,000 in fines if he is convicted.
