One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon on Crystal Lake Road near Waupaca, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The driver of the vehicle, 27-year-old Cody Monnier, of Almond, was the only person in the car and died at the scene, police said. A preliminary investigation shows the man appears to have lost control of his vehicle before entering a ditch and striking a tree.
The crash remains under investigation.
