MARSHFIELD — Autopsy results are pending for a four-month-old baby who died early Friday in Marshfield.
Police were called at 12:23 a.m. to the home of Matthew Sherd and Thesla Gavigan for a report of a baby that was not breathing and had no pulse, according to a Marshfield Police Department news release. Officers tried to revive the girl, but lifesaving efforts were not successful, police said.
An investigation into the child’s death is underway.
