TOWN OF HARRISON — Two people, including a 10-year-old boy, were injured Saturday when their UTV was struck head on by an oncoming ATV, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.

The crash was reported just after noon off Cinder Road in the town of Harrison. A preliminary investigation shows the UTV was being operated on a trail when the vehicle was struck. A 51-year-old Rockford, Ill. man and his 10-year-old son were ejected from the UTV and were transported by Tomahawk EMS to a Rhinelander hospital for treatment, police said.

Their injuries are described as non-life threatening. Police did not say if any citations were issued. No additional details have been released.
