A Wisconsin Education Fair for area high school students, parents and prospective adult students will be held in the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County Fieldhouse on Monday, Oct. 2 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., and Tuesday, Oct. 3 from 9 – 11 a.m.

Representatives of universities, colleges, technical and vocational colleges, trade schools and the military will be present to talk about a variety of educational opportunities. The fair provides the opportunity to obtain information about the programs of more than 100 different post-secondary schools in one location.

No formal presentations will be held. Students and parents will be able to move around the Fieldhouse, spending as much time as they wish with the individual representatives. In addition, financial aid counselors will be present to answer questions about financial assistance that is available to students as they seek education and training beyond high school.

Students from area high schools and their parents are encouraged to attend this free event. The UWMC Fieldhouse is located on the corner of 7th and Garfield avenues in Wausau. For more information, contact Brian Kalish, UWMC student life and events coordinator, at 715-261-6228.
