Get the best view of central Wisconsin this fall cruising the Comet chairlift starting Saturday, Sept. 23.
Granite Peak Ski Area at Rib Mountain State Park is offering the community a chance to see the mountain’s colorful canopy while gliding up and down on the high-speed ski lift.
“We’re thrilled to do this once again for our community and give everyone a chance to enjoy the beautiful state park during one of our great seasons,” said Vicki Baumann, operations manager.
Tickets can be purchased at the Comet chairlift for $11 per person. Children under 5 are free, and 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Hours of operation are subject to change due to inclement weather.
Fall rides are held during the following weekends from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.:
September 23-24
September 30-October 1
October 7-8
October 14-15
