UPDATE: The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says Dylan Farber has been found. Wauwatosa officers arrested Farber and he is being taken back to Dodge County.

A man police describe as “dangerous” is on the loose after escaping early Friday morning from the Dodge County Jail.

A search is underway for Dylan Joseph Farber, 30, who likely escaped around 2 a.m. wearing khaki pants, a green shirt and orange Croc-style shoes. He was last seen walking in the city of Juneau, police said.

Farber was being held at the jail on a $2,000 cash bond for a felony charge of fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer, according to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department. The inmate also has other open charges in at least two additional counties.

His last known address is in Fox Lake. Dodge County deputies along with the Beaver Dam K-9 unit did conduct a search of the area, but were not able to locate him.

Anyone with information about Farber’s whereabouts should call 911 immediately. He should not be approached, police said.
