TOWN OF ROCK FALLS — Two men are in custody following a single-vehicle rollover crash Sunday afternoon and a foot chase through the woods, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.

Police responded at 3:42 p.m. to a report of a pickup that had left the roadway and overturned on Hwy. 107 in the town of Rock Falls. The driver was arrested on charges of fifth offense drunken driving.

A passenger in the pickup fled the scene, leading police on a chase through a wooded area, but was located with help from a K9 officer. The passenger, a 58-year-old Tomahawk man, is on extended supervision for a felony seventh offense drunken driving charge and was arrested for violating the terms of his probation by drinking, police said.

No names have been released. Both men are expected to appear Monday in Lincoln County Circuit Court to face formal charges.
