Menominee Tribal Police say a parent on the reservation discovered a bag of crystal meth in her child’s Halloween candy early Monday.
The bag was a small yellow Ziploc type bag containing crystalline powder. Tests showed the powder is methamphetamine, police said.
The child did not ingest the drugs and was not physically harmed. Police are looking into how the drugs got into the child’s candy bag.

The parent says the child was trick-or-treating Sunday evening in the Keshena area on the Menominee Indian Reservation. The Menominee Tribal Police Department is asking the community to check their children’s Halloween candy thoroughly.
