On October 26, 2017, students from Stevens Point, Wausau, and Merrill were inducted into the WI Valley Lutheran High School Chapter of the National Honor Society.
Inductees included: Samuel Jordan (Stevens Point), Shealan Kelly (Wausau), Cassidy Maroszek (Wausau), Simeon Schult (Merrill), Anna Wiesneski (Merrill), and Caleb Gustafson (Merrill).
The ceremony took place in front of a crowd of parents, friends, and family members at Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School in Mosinee. Those selected for this prestigious honor took part in the ceremonial lighting of candles of scholarship, character, service and leadership.
The ceremony brings the total number of students inducted from the school, established in 2004, to 47.
