TOWN OF DAYTON — Police have identified the man who died early Saturday after his pickup crossed the center line and struck an oncoming semi-tractor.
Travis Sieckert, 26, of Waupaca, died in the crash, according to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department
The crash was reported at 2:43 a.m. Saturday on STH 22, just south of Rural Road in the town of Dayton. Both vehicles were on fire by the time first responders arrived at the scene, police said.
The driver of the northbound semi-truck was not injured, according to a news release.
