Wausau residents who were taken by surprise by early snowfalls that hampered leaf-raking and other fall yard work can breathe a little easier knowing the city’s yard waste site will remain open for another week.
The city’s yard waste site is located at the east end of Chellis Street and is open to Wausau residents only. The site will close for the season at 5 p.m. on Nov. 26.
