WAUSAU — Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, a franchise restaurant on Wausau’s west side, has closed its doors after two years in business.
Dickey’s, which operates more than 500 restaurants nationwide, opened its 2111 Stewart Avenue location in October 2015. The restaurant served Texas-style barbecue meals and offered catering for weddings and other special events.
The Wausau location no longer appears on the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit website, and the phone at the business has been disconnected.
A call to the Dickey’s corporate office was not immediately returned.
