WAUSAU — The Wausau RiverWolves dropped their second straight game Saturday to the North Iowa Bulls, a team that came into the game in sole possession of first place in the league’s central division.

Despite the loss, goaltender Henry Baribeau had a career high night, stopping 57 of 60 shots on goal.

The Bulls scored two goals in the first period one at the 1:10 mark and the other at the 19:36 mark. Wausau’s lone goal also came in the first period at the 12:51 mark.

Scoring for the RiverWolves was Matt Irwin who notched his ninth goal of the season.

The RiverWolves hit the road next weekend to Mason City, Iowa to take on the North Iowa Bulls for another two game weekend series.  The RiverWolves will be back at home starting Dec. 8 for a three-game set. The puck drops at 7 p.m. all three nights.
