Peoples State Bank announced that Mark Oldenberg, CPA, will be joining the Peoples team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) starting December 4, 2017. Oldenberg will also serve as CFO of PSB Holding, Inc., parent company of Peoples.

His responsibilities will be to maintain a high quality of financial reporting both internally and externally with investors and bank regulators. Additionally, he will monitor all aspects of balance sheet management and support merger and acquisition initiatives and investor relations.

Oldenberg has over 20 years of experience in community banking and will be a great addition to the senior management team. He is coming to Peoples from Citizens Community Federal Bank in Eau Claire, WI, [CZWI:NASDAQ] where he was CFO and executive vice president.

Oldenberg has experience in many areas of the banking industry including accounting, finance, marketing, compliance, audit, operations, human resources and lending. He has worked with four Wisconsin banks since his graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he is an advisory board member to the UW Eau Claire College of Business.

Oldenberg is from the northcentral Wisconsin area and looks forward to reconnecting with family here. He currently serves on the board of the Chippewa Valley Boys and Girls Club. He is married with three children and in his free time enjoys golfing and travel.
