WAUSAU — The Woodson YMCA is holding an event to gather donations for food pantries while helping the community burn off those holiday calories with Santa Jam, a free event slated for Dec. 23.

Members and non-members are invited to get into the holiday spirit with 90 minutes of cardio and strength, where instructors will take you through a warmup, movies from RIPPD, P90x, Bootcamp and more. All levels are welcome for this free community class.

The entry fee is a non-perishable food item.

The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Sat., Dec. 23 in the south studio of the Woodson YMCA-Wausau Branch, 707 Third St., Wausau.

The YMCA provides programs, services and initiatives designed to help members of the community to learn, grow and thrive. In the process, they aim to enable children and teens to reach their potential, empower people of all ages to be healthier in spirit, mind and body and support neighbors in need, according to a YMCA news release.
