TOWN OF EASTON — Multiple fire crews spent hours battling a blaze at a town of Easton home on Tuesday, where several dogs were rescued.

The blaze was reported at about 4 p.m. Crews were still putting out hot spots nearly three hours later, according to police.

Fire department from Easton, Ringle, Hewitt, SAFER, and the Town of Wausau responded to the blaze. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

This is the second of two fires in less than 24 hours in the Wausau area. Crews also battled a duplex fire on Wausau’s northeast side early Tuesday.
