TOWN OF HARRISON — A 36-year-old Tomahawk woman was injured after the vehicle she was riding in slid into a ditch and struck a tree, a portion of which broke off and fell into the sunroof of the vehicle, police said.
The crash happened Saturday on Bear Trail Road in the town of Harrison, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department. The driver and three back seat passengers — two children and a dog — were not injured in the crash.
The injured woman was transported via ambulance to Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital, where she was treated and released. No names were released and no citations were issued.
