Marathon County, WI – Nominations for the Stanley F. Staples Jr. Person of the Year Award are currently being accepted.
This award is given to a person or organization that has made a positive impact on the Hmong community of Marathon County, especially in education.
Nominations can be made by sending the person or organization’s name along with a 1-2 paragraph narrative on the nominee to Yee Leng Xiong ([email protected]) addressing why this person or organization should be chosen.
The deadline for the submission is March 16th. The winner will be announced at the Hmong American Center’s “Dream Big: 2056” event on April 7, 2018 at the Jefferson Street Inn.
