HATLEY — Two people are recovering Thursday from injuries they sustained in a two-vehicle crash near Hatley.

Police were called at 2:43 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a crash at the intersection of Hwy. 29 and White Birch Circle near Hatley, after a large straight truck and a small SUV collided.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to area hospitals via ambulance for treatment of their injuries, which police said did not appear life threatening. No other passengers were involved.

One eastbound lane on Hwy. 29 was closed after the crash, police said. All lanes of traffic are now open.

No additional details about the crash have yet been released.
