STEVENS POINT — Police are searching for an armed suspect who allegedly robbed a Stevens Point R-Store at gunpoint early this morning.
The robbery was reported just before 6 a.m. Sunday, according to a Stevens Point Police Department news release. Officials say a single suspect entered the store, pulled out a weapon and demanded cash before getting away with an undisclosed about of money.
The store is located in the 5400 block of Hwy. 10. Officers with the Stevens Point Police Department, along with Portage County Sheriff’s deputies, responded.
No one was injured.
Police have not yet released a description of the suspect. This story will be updated as additional information is released.
