WAUSAU — Police are investigating what they are describing as a suspicious death of a 77-year-old man on Wausau’s near east side.
At 10:21 a.m. Tuesday, Wausau Police responded to the 1000 block of Kickbusch Street for a man found dead in a garage by his daughter. Police are treating the death as a homicide, according to Deputy Chief Ben Bliven.
Police are asking members of the public to stay away from the area to allow police to investigate the scene. Tarps have been erected to shield part of the property from public view.
