GREEN BAY — After a highly successful season, the Newman Catholic High School girls basketball team’s quest for a state championship ended Friday morning in a heartbreaking loss to the Black Hawk Warriors of South Wayne.
The final score was 57-31.
The two teams faced of Friday morning at the Resch Center in Green Bay in Division 5 state semifinal action.
Black Hawk will play the winner of the Division 5 Bangor-Clayton game.
