WAUSAU — Residents in Wausau can dispose of their large, unwanted items this spring during the city’s annual Clean it Up, Wausau event, according to a city news release.
The event, spearheaded by the city’s Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) committee, is a partnership with local nonprofit organizations. Items can be dropped off at 105 E. Chellis St., near the city’s yard waste site.
The annual event will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 27 and April 28.
Additional summer dropoff dates, which do not allow for appliances and electronics disposal, are as follows:
Friday and Saturday, June 22, 23, 2018 from 9-5
Friday and Saturday, July 27, 28, 2018 from 9-5
Friday and Saturday, August 24, 25, 2018 from 9-5
A fall large item dropoff is slated for September.
